About the Crystal Meth Prevention Society of BC

About the Crystal Meth Prevention Society of BC

The Crystal Meth Prevention Society of BC is a registered Charity # 835402140. We aim to reduce the spread of crystal meth use in all communities through education and outreach support efforts. The Society is committed to the expansion of treatment options for community members, in particular youth, through fundraising efforts.

The Crystal Meth Prevention Society is run by volunteers and composed of parents and other concerned people in the community.     Learn about CMP Society Board Members.

What are we doing on Vancouver Island and in BC?

Education about the drug's dangers and devastating effects is the best tool to prevent youth from using the drug, and to help families protect their children.

The Crystal Meth Prevention Society and scores of volunteers have worked to coordinate a community task force combating crystal meth use on several fronts: youth education, community awareness, enforcement, and rehabilitation services.

Educate Yourself and Others
The key to stopping crystal meth abuse is educating both those affected directly by it along with those who govern and make policy. Learn all that you can about it, and don't be afraid to discuss it with your children, friends, and government representatives.

The Crystal Meth Society applied for Charity status in April of 2006. We received Federal Registered Charity Status in May of 2006. Our Charity Number is # 83540 2140 RR0001.
